🚨 BREAKING: Military Plane Crash in Colombia Leaves 8 Dead, 83 Injured

A military transport aircraft carrying 125 people crashed in southern Colombia on Monday, leaving at least eight people dead and 83 others injured, officials confirmed.

The aircraft, identified as a C-130 Hercules, was transporting 114 passengers and 11 crew members. Among the passengers were two police officers and 112 military personnel.

The crash occurred in Putumayo province, near the border with Peru. Authorities said the cause of the crash has not yet been determined.

According to Putumayo Governor Jhon Gabriel Molina, the aircraft went down shortly after takeoff, traveling less than three kilometers before crashing.

Colombia’s Defense Minister Pedro Sánchez stated that there is no indication the crash was the result of an attack by any armed group.

An investigation is currently underway to determine the exact cause of the incident.
